Solar battery charger for Minelab?

Thought this looked kind of interesting, anyone tried something like this? Solar charger for Minelab GP detectors:

My method is to use a small solar panel to keep my RV batteries toped off then charge off them. I have tried it direct from the panel to minelab GPX, it took about 6 hours to charge it. BIll needs to put more info in the listing. Like the output.

The one I have is 14VDC, 750mA it clamps to the voltage of the battery your charging. Is enough to maintain my RV batteries $169 at John's Detectors

Hi Chris, that's the best way I've found also... solar charge my RV, then re-charge MD battery off my RV 12volt plug-in.
