About Me
Who’s Charlie (whats4supper)?
In my last summary after a friend pointed out some of my errors in thought, I pulled that summary, and rewrote it this way. I hope this isn't too negative. I was going to include some of my adventures in life and work, but family movies get the best of everyone, so I'll leave that part out. Suffice to state that I have been involved in accidents on and off work that would've killed another outright. Those that love life are the first to go it seems, and those who'd rather go are left living another day. perhaps this civilization is some other planet's hell, or so it seems.
Good days and bad days. what keeps me going is discovery and research into something that seems plausible, interesting, and worthy of a second or third look. Chances are many things worthy of knowing have already been found, invented, studied, or tweaked, then hidden out of view by some academic or robber baron that would lose all if the real truth was ever brought to light.
True friendships have always been a challenge. It’s probably more lopsided to my feelings than of those by an outsider. I’m a charitable person, but keep my distance, and generally live life inside of shell, or very close to the door of one..
As a Cancer (astrology) individual, my moods are as varied as wind and waves of the ocean. Like a dog, I pretty much prefer the same old routine on my dinner plate, and am picky, finicky, and boring; day in and day out, for years on end. I am always analyzing things, theory, thoughts, people, geology, artifacts, junk and trash, old roads, articles of research, and perhaps flight into the unknown (and unverifiable) realms and trains of thought.
I read a lot, and whenever I go somewhere, look a lot at what’s at my feet, and picking up any old rock or doodad that I find interesting along the way. A hoarder by nature, not much chance that things ever get tossed out, and even if they do, I try to find what I consider to be the best home for it. Rocks are my favorite, though trash is a close second. I surround myself with non-fiction books, and variable music styles, old magazines, and new theory on old things and origins of life on Earth.
Where I visit or go, I remember, as well as most of what I read. My fear is that as I grow older, my mental treasure stash will wane, as will my memory.
Besides all that, I like to meddle in other people’s posts. Sometimes things go well, sometimes it starts a war of words. Not out to rip anybody off, though at times, my opinions/suggestions are construed as such. When hammered about something, I’m likely to return to the old safe burrow and hideout.
If I was reincarnated as an animal of my choice, I’d come back as a donkey. Besides being stubborn, they also find lots of things at their feet. In spite of popular opinion to the contrary, I have also found many donkeys to be extremely smart, and a friend for life, once someone takes the time to break their shell and earn their trust.
