This new Coiltek Battery system is taking detectorist by storm.  This new system is less than 15 ounces making it the lightest Minelab SD/GP/GPX battery system on the market.  The unit can mounted to the side of any Minelab metal detector with the use of the short power cord (sold separately).  The SD/GP series unit has a three position regulator toggle switch that allows you to choose between two operating voltages (6.7 or 7.3 volts).  You can now run your Minelab SD at a higher operating voltage that allows you to get better stability, better sensitivity to smaller gold and more depth.  Since the GP series have a built in regulator, it's best to run this system at 6.7 volts, but running the 7.3 volts will not harm the metal detector. 

The complete unit comes with (2) 7800mah Li-Ion Batteries, Smart 12v car/wall charger, 3-way adjustable regulator (6.7, 7.3 or off) and a pouch to keep it all protected.  The short power cord is sold separately for $31.00.

The Boomerang Bungee!!
What in Creation do we have here...

Behold one of the greatest bungee inventions known to Metal Detectorist!  This new bungee is no comparison to any other bungee system on the market today.  Read below to learn more about this mind-boggling new product that is now available through Rob's Detector Sales.

Statement from the Designer:

The grey clip is the Boomerang Clip. There are actually two Boomerangs in the above photo.

The black clip is a standard clip that has been around for years, and yet very few people use them because the difficulty in installing them on the end of a bungee. I asked the company we bought them from what the trick was for getting them onto the end of a bungee, and they said they had no idea, that's why no one ever bought them. They told me that the only way they were ever able to get the collar on the clip, was to beat it with a hammer!

Thanks to my oldest son, Arin, he devised a process that allows us to install this clip in about 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes !

The black clip, snaps easily onto the existing bow knuckle on the shaft of your detector. To put the snap on you simply push, it clicks on !  To remove the clip you simply push it forward and pull it and it snaps off !

Now the magic of the Boomerang Quick Adjust Clip.

Simply snap it onto the "D" ring of your battery harness shoulder strap. Pull up on the bungee to find the perfect length, and tug the bungee down into the "V" groove to lock the bungee in place for the perfect length every time. No tying or untying or guessing how long the bungee should be.

This bungee system is going through the process of being patented.
